After I was sworn in on January 13, 2009, legislative sessions
immediately began. My dedication and work ethic to take on the
tough issues and laws that effect Campbell and Union Counties
began shortly after you placed confidence in me by electing me as
your state representative.
It is because of your belief that we need a fresh perspective and a
strong voice that I am able to write this to you today. My priority in
Nashville and goal for the 36th District and Tennessee is to bring
to the floor issues that are important to Campbell and Union
counties. My goal is to use a pro-active approach and address
issues head-on. This is a time we need strong leadership skills
and the ability to be ahead of the game to confront anything that
prevents us from moving in a better direction. Working to protect
the interests of our citizens and strengthen our local economy is
crucial. Strengthening, building and supporting our infrastructure
is paramount.
